TopTank Mobile Tanker Access
“TopTank”’ is a lightweight, mobile, yet sturdy tanker access system offering complete safety and ease of use to operators. It is an economic alternative to fixed installations where access is limited. APPLICATIONS
There is an inherent risk to operators who are required
to climb onto tankers to take samples, inspect equipment or check loads. The
TopTank has
been introduced to protect operators working on tankers. They are suitable for use with rigid tankers, trailer tanks and ISO containers and are designed such that employees, such as lab technicians and maintenance engineers are not only protected but feel safe and secure whilst climbing onto the tanker and working within the safety cage. One person can easily position the tanker access stairs
close to the tanker and secure it ready for use. They can be pushed to a convenient
storage position when not in service. The stairs can be fitted with a third
‘jockey wheel’ for horizontal manoeuvring within a limited space. Other
options include wind and rain protection screens, extended cages or a wider
