Requirements
Part 1 - To design, manufacture, install and commission a top loading gantry and rain canopy complete with 3 step extra wide folding stairs with pneumatically powered control system.
Part 2 – Supply and commission 28 off bottom loading arms complete with standposts and 4 off top loading arms.
Inflow solution
Part 1 - Using our in-house design team and the latest engineering design software, we were able to provide the client with a unique gantry and canopy solution that was easy to ship and assemble on site with the minimum of fuss and within the clients required budget. For the folding stairs we supplied a set of our standard 2.6m wide units, which are usually held in stock at our factory. Because of the size and weight of these stairs we designed a simple pneumatic power kit that fits to the stairs and allows easy and safe operation by one person. The stairs were installed and commissioned with the gantry all within the required timescales of the site construction programme.
Part 2 – Using our own Inflow 445 bottom loading arms and stand posts, along with in house specified top loading arms allowed us to win the project and provide all the required equipment well within the clients original budget, whilst meeting all the technical requirements. We also supplied all the hoses, bottom hose swivels, API couplers and other ancillary equipment. We manufactured and delivered the arms and stand posts for others to install. We were also tasked with final on site balancing and commissioning, which was completed to the clients satisfaction and within the timescale requested.
Outcome
Working in close conjunction with the fuelling facility project design engineers and the on-site construction contractors Inflow provided all the necessary equipment and documentation to ensure the project was completed on time and within budget.
