The Fort Vale Safeload semi-automatic coupler for bottom loading has a unique wrap-around trigger design that follows the profile of the loading adaptor, covering more than 60% of its circumference.

Flyte Coupler
Developed in response to customer feedback, the IFC 'Flyte' type coupler is 100% interchangeable with all existing rail fuelling couplers.
In the past this type of coupler has suffered from the following problems:
- Leaking inner seal causing environmental and health & safety issues
- Complicated disassembly required to replace failed seals
- Excess stock of couplers held
- Repair service required
- Increased overheads in tracking couplers through repair process
- Damaged fittings due to difficulty in disassembling
- Damaged 'C spanner' fitting caused by 'cold chiselling' during tightening
- Leaks at hose connection caused by difficulty in tightening with 'C spanner'
- Damaged outer holding ring
