Intake Fill Cabinets

IFC intake fill cabinets [tanker delivery point]

In most cases gas oil or ultra-low sulphur diesel is supplied to the depot by road tanker. These vehicles are generally equipped with
on board pumping & metering equipment. IFC intake fill cabinets will receive this fuel in a controlled & environmentally safe fashion.
The standard cabinet is manufactured from mild steel, shot blasted & painted to give long life.

As a minimum each bunker is equipped with a single 3" delivery connection, isolation ball valve & non-return valve. An anti-spill or containment chamber is fitted under the fill point to catch spills, which inevitably occur during hose connection. A manual hand pump is also provided to drain thisback into the fill line or disposal containers. The fill point is accessed via a lockable roller shutter door & equipped with a weatherproof switch & industrial fluorescent light for night time & winter deliveries.

The bunker is a good location to fit the storage tank level metering & bund alarm systems. The standard package provides an economical CTS system with high-level alarm.
