Fuelling Dispensers
Fuelling dispensers Generally speaking there are two different ways you can dispense fuels from a fixed installation. Dispensers without pumpsAdvantagesThis system can overcome the problem caused by having pipe work running at high level. For 10 plus dispensers this system tends to be less expensive to install. DisadvantagesFlow rates at the train refuelling point are hard to regulate because any dispenser in use must share the available flow rate. This system will require a pressure relief & return line back to each storage tank. Fairly high line pressure, should there be a leak then significant quantities could be spilled before containment. The saving made in cheaper dispensers can be out weighed by the cost associated in building a pump house or pump bund area.
If smaller dispensers are required, then a simple solution for indoors can be provided. As shown left a basic flow meter, hose and Flyte coupler with a stand can be manufactured.
These simple units, as with all installations, may also include all associated pipe work. This work may also include new pump control panels, and modifications to existing equipment.
Individual pumps in each dispenser Advantages
